Job Description: IRS Group is recruiting for a General Assembler to work in Smethwick. We are looking for an experienced General Assembler to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a part-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Pay & Benefits * £12.71 per hour * Part-time hours * Temporary position * Potential permanent opportunity * Smethwick location Duties & Responsibilities * Assemble products and components accurately and efficiently. * Use hand tools and basic assembly equipment. * Follow assembly instructions and procedures. * Carry out quality checks on components and finished products. * Identify and report any defects or issues. * Maintain a clean and organised work area. * Work as part of a team to meet production requirements. * Follow health and safety procedures at all times. * Complete basic production paperwork when required. * Assist with other production duties as required. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate must have previous assembly experience and be comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment. You will also need: * Good attention to detail. * Experience using hand tools. * Ability to follow instructions accurately. * Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. * Reliable and punctual. * A strong work ethic and positive attitude. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
