We are seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our established automotive business, covering Yorkshire and the North East. Based within approximately 20 miles of Leeds, you will support vehicle fleet, hire and leasing customers, working primarily on light commercial vehicles as well as cars. Benefits: * Basic salary of up to approximately £40,000, with an overall package of up to £49,600 including bonus. * Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with most days finishing earlier. * 1.5x overtime rate. * Company van, fuel card, tablet and mobile phone provided. * Private healthcare plan. * Start and finish from home, with no daily travel to Head Office. * A varied role across workshops, warehouses, business premises and customer sites. * As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you can benefit from greater independence and regular early finishes. Duties: * In this Mobile Vehicle Technician position, manage your own customer bookings through the company app. * Plan and manage your diary efficiently, considering job locations and required parts. * Diagnose and repair vehicles at customer sites, including driveways and business premises. * Order parts from approved suppliers and arrange delivery to your home. * Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed to a high standard. * Work independently while supporting the wider team when required. * This Mobile Vehicle Technician role is not roadside-based and is organised to minimise unnecessary travel. Requirements: * To be successful as a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you must hold IMI or NVQ Level 3, or an equivalent qualification, in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. * Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician. * Previous mobile or field-based experience is highly advantageous. * A full UK driving licence with minimal points. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload. * Adaptability when working in varying environments and weather conditions. * This Mobile Vehicle Technician opportunity requires a professional approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
