We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Lowestoft. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to support children in their early learning stages.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in preparing and setting up resources for lessons and activities, and help maintain a clean and organised environment.
• Support the teacher in delivering educational activities and engaging students in learning.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material or skills introduced by the teacher.
• Monitor and support the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers on student achievements and challenges.
• Assist with the supervision of students during non-classroom times, including lunch breaks and recess.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a classroom setting or working with children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
