Driver Hire Newark & Grantham are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our clients carrying out palletised deliveries across the UK. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, giving the successful driver the chance to move into a permanent position with the client following a successful period working through Driver Hire. The Role * Driving a Class 1 vehicle carrying out palletised deliveries across the UK * Monday to Friday * 7:00am starts * Delivering palletised goods to customers * Professional, customer-facing role * Regular ongoing work * Opportunity to move into a permanent position * All breaks are unpaid Pay * £18.75 per hour assignment rate * Overtime paid daily after 8 hours * £28.12 per hour overtime rate Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: * Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence * Have an in-date CPC * Have an in-date Digital Tachograph Card * Have the right to work in the UK * Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills If you're an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular Monday-Friday work with a 7:00am start and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, we'd love to hear from you
