Marketing Executive

Chelmsford | £28,000 – £35,000 DOE | 4-day working week

Are you a creative and organised marketer looking for a role where you can really get involved and make a difference?

We’re working with an established business in Chelmsford that is looking for a Marketing Executive to join its team. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of a wide range of marketing activity and help develop the company’s brand and communications.

You’ll be involved in everything from creating engaging content and managing social media, through to website updates, marketing campaigns and events. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to make sure marketing activity is delivered effectively and consistently.

There will also be an element of customer communications, including supporting customer feedback and communications around the services the business provides, ensuring messaging is clear, professional and aligned with the company’s values.

This would suit someone who enjoys a varied role, likes getting stuck in and is keen to develop their marketing experience within a supportive and established business.

The role

• Create engaging content across digital channels, including social media and the company website
• Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Coordinate marketing activity and events
• Work with internal teams and external partners on marketing projects
• Help manage and develop social media channels and website content
• Support customer communications and feedback activity
• Ensure communications are clear, consistent and on brand
• Help identify opportunities to improve marketing activity and processes
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
• Take ownership of your own areas of responsibility as your experience develops

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in marketing, communications or a similar role
• Has strong written communication skills and enjoys creating engaging content
• Is confident using digital marketing channels, including social media and websites
• Is organised, accurate and comfortable managing a varied workload
• Can confidently work with different teams and external contacts
• Has a proactive, hands-on approach and is happy working independently
• Is keen to learn, develop and take on more responsibility
• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in the quality of their work

Experience within financial services or insurance would be useful but is not essential.
