Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Horsham - Must be Car Driver with access to own vehicle
Salary: £16 - £17 p/h
Full Time | Contract until March 2027

We're recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a well-established and fast-paced business responsible for managing high-value stock and ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives on driving efficiency, improving processes, and developing a small team.

The Role

As Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee the full warehouse function, ensuring stock is accurately controlled, operations run efficiently, and customer expectations are consistently met. You'll be responsible for leading and supporting one direct report, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys remaining operationally involved while providing leadership and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Supervising, supporting and developing one warehouse team member
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift when required
• Overseeing inventory management and ensuring excellent stock accuracy
• Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Working closely with supply chain, logistics and procurement teams to support business operations
• Managing warehouse systems, reporting and operational performance
• Reviewing and improving warehouse processes to maximise efficiency and service levels

About You

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor position
• Experience leading or supervising warehouse staff
• Strong inventory management and stock control knowledge
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
