Foundation Learning Lecturer - Construction, Creative or Skills (English & Maths)

Full Time | Ongoing Opportunity | Immediate Start | £25-35 per hour including holiday pay

Reed Further Education are recruiting for several Foundation Learning Lecturer positions on behalf of a leading Further Education provider., based in Cardiff

We are seeking passionate and adaptable lecturers to support learners within a Foundation Learning environment. These roles are ideal for candidates who have experience teaching or supporting Entry Level learners and understand how to engage, motivate and develop learners with a wide range of educational needs and abilities.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inclusive learning sessions.
• Support Foundation and Entry Level learners to achieve positive outcomes.
• Differentiate teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Deliver tutorial and pastoral support.
• Complete associated administration and curriculum duties.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

About You

• Experience teaching or supporting Foundation/Entry Level learners.
• Understanding of learner support strategies, engagement techniques and differentiation.
• Relevant vocational or subject expertise within Construction, Creative, English and/or Maths.
• Experience within Further Education or a similar learning environment desirable.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or QTS desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
