Hours: 09:00–17:00, Monday–Friday (reduced hours may be considered)

Pay: £13.84–£15.38 per hour, depending on experience

Start: Immediate

Contract: Temporary initially, with potential for temp-to-perm

We are currently looking for a confident and computer-savvy Administrator to join a small office team in the Leicestershire countryside.

Working for a company that provides maintenance services, you will play a key role in keeping systems, schedules and day-to-day operations running smoothly, as well as tackling weekly and monthly payroll.

This is a varied admin role where you’ll be working closely with the management and field-based teams, so we’re looking for someone who is organised, happy to get stuck in and able to juggle different tasks.

Please note: This is a very remote site, so you will need your own reliable transport to get to and from the office each day.

Payroll duties will include:

  • Payroll processing using Xero (weekly and monthly)
  • Processing statutory payments (such as SSP/SMP) and file RTI or year-end returns
  • Handling invoices

General admin support including:

  • Supporting the field-based team by coordinating schedules, booking accommodation, ordering supplies etc.
  • Using a range of systems daily, including Microsoft packages and Xero
  • Carrying out general admin and data entry to support the management team
  • Supporting with tenders

What do I need to be considered?

  • You’ll be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build good relationships with customers and suppliers
  • You’ll be computer literate, have a good knowledge of Excel and be comfortable learning new systems (experience with Xero beneficial but not essential)
  • Payroll administration experience is essential for this particular administrative role
  • You’ll have your own reliable transport due to the site location
  • You’ll be happy to muck in and support other team members when needed

What do you get in return?

  • Full training on the role provided
  • An immediate starting role
  • Monday–Friday working hours, with a good work-life balance
  • A temporary role initially, with the potential for something more secure for the right person
  • The chance to work within a small, friendly, close-knit team
  • Additional benefits if the role becomes permanent, including an annual bonus

If you feel this could be the ideal role for you and you’re looking for a full-time Administrator position with an immediate start, we’d love to hear from you!

Just apply with your CV and we’ll be in touch.
