Looking to build towards manager level in Cumbria? A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified Corporate Tax Senior.

You’d work across a technically interesting corporate portfolio, supporting managers and partners on compliance and advisory assignments with real breadth to them. What’s the day to day of the role:

• Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and computations across the portfolio
• Supporting advisory assignments including group structures and tax planning
• Acting as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients
• Keeping pace with UK corporation tax legislation and flagging changes to clients
• Helping identify tax planning opportunities across the portfolio
• Supervising and developing the junior members of the tax team

Required skills and qualifications:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified
• At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Experience preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and computations
• Sound technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and current developments
• Professional with clients, commercially minded, and aiming for manager level
