Date posted: October 23, 2026 Pay: £45,000.00 - £55,000.00 per year Job description: Permanent | Regional Main Contractor | Bristol We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established regional contractor to deliver an £18m cladding remediation project in Bristol. This is a significant building safety scheme and will suit an individual with previous experience managing façade, cladding, refurbishment or external envelope projects. Following completion of the Bristol project, there is a strong pipeline of secured work across the South West. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities * Managing subcontractors and site labour * Overseeing cladding remediation and façade packages * Ensuring compliance with all health & safety requirements * Driving programme and productivity targets * Conducting quality inspections and managing snagging works * Coordinating site logistics, deliveries and materials * Liaising with clients, consultants and residents where required * Chairing site meetings and producing progress updates * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications and regulations Requirements * Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, façade, cladding or major construction projects * Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site management processes * Ability to manage multiple subcontract packages simultaneously * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Experience within occupied environments would be advantageous Qualifications * SMSTS * CSCS Card * First Aid at Work Package * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package * Long-term career progression opportunities * Secure pipeline of regional projects * Opportunity to lead a high-profile £18m scheme in Bristol Work Location: In person
