Our client, a public sector organisation based in Nottingham, is currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner to support on a 12-week temporary contract

The role offers 3 days working from home per week, is paying £27.33 p/h and would be ideal for someone with experience providing expert HR advice on complex employee relations, organisational change and employment law matters.

Duties will include:

• Providing high-level specialist advice on complex attendance, performance, disciplinary and conflict resolution matters
• Managing complex casework and supporting hearings, appeals and employment tribunal activity
• Advising senior managers and school leaders on restructures, staffing reductions, TUPE and wider workforce change
• Leading designated HR policy and procedure areas, including horizon scanning and applying employment law and case law
• Consulting and negotiating with trade unions through formal and informal employee relations processes
• Creating and delivering briefings, coaching and training on HR policy, procedure, employment law and risk
• Analysing workforce information, identifying trends and recommending practical interventions

Experience required:

• HR business partnering and complex employee relations experience
• Experience supporting formal hearings, appeals, employment tribunals and organisational change
• Experience advising senior managers and working collaboratively with legal representatives and trade unions
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, case law and HR policy
• Ability to coach, supervise and develop HR advisers

Working hours:

• 37 hours
• Mon – Fri, 9am-5pm
