The RoleAs the school's Attendance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting student attendance, safeguarding and pupil welfare, ensuring every child has the best opportunity to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality Following up absences with parents and carers Identifying attendance concerns and trends Maintaining accurate attendance records using school systems Producing attendance reports for senior leaders Working closely with pastoral teams and external agencies Supporting safeguarding and welfare procedures Encouraging strong school-home communication
We're Looking For Someone Who: Has excellent administration and organisational skills Is confident communicating with parents, carers and professionals Can manage sensitive conversations professionally and compassionately Has strong IT and data management skills Is able to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively. Has experience within a school, education, safeguarding or office environment (desirable) Is committed to supporting positive outcomes for young people
