The brand Our client is a genuinely high-end British brand, a true leader in its field and one of the fastest-growing luxury lifestyle names in the UK. Renowned for exceptional quality, beautiful design and an obsessive attention to detail, they have built a devoted global following. They sell direct to consumer and through an international network of premium retail and wholesale partners. The business is growing fast, and this is a brand people are proud to have on their CV.
The role You'll be joining a small, close-knit team and working side by side with the Senior Buyer as the commercial lead for your product department. You'll own the numbers: you'll trade the current season through OTB, set up future seasons for success, and turn data into clear recommendations that shape range, price and stock decisions across the UK and international markets.
It's hands-on and highly visible. You'll get real influence in a business where your work makes a difference straight away.
What you'll be doing
*
Trading the department week in, week out, and managing OTB, WSSI and stock health to protect sales and margin
*
Owning sales and volume forecasts from line level up to category, in line with seasonal profiles and campaign activity
*
Working in partnership with Buying and Design on range width, depth and content, and on the range's progression across the UK and international markets
*
Planning and managing multi-channel stock, balancing DTC/e-commerce with wholesale (B2B) partners
*
Managing critical paths with the supply chain so stock lands on time
*
Building markdown and clearance plans with Buying, and getting ahead of terminal stock
*
Making sure new lines and promotions land right first time across every function
*
Producing sharp, accurate analysis for senior management, E-commerce and the wider business
*
Challenging how things are done and improving processes as the business scales
What you'll bring

A proven track record at Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser level in retail. A clothing, footwear or apparel background is ideal.
*
Experience of both B2C (DTC, e-commerce or retail) and B2B (wholesale or retail partners) merchandising
*
Strong command of WSSI, OTB, forecasting and range planning
*
Advanced Excel skills and high numeracy. You read data commercially, not just accurately.
*
Confidence as a communicator who influences with facts and builds strong relationships with Buyers and stakeholders
*
The ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing business without losing sight of profit
*
Energy, resilience and a drive to improve how things work
Why this one?
*

*
A small team, so your voice is heard and your impact is visible
