Residential Property Solicitor / Legal Executive
Location: Doncaster or one of the firm’s Lincolnshire offices
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: 09:00 to 17:15, Monday to Friday
A well-established law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing property team.
This is a great opportunity for a residential property professional looking for a role where you can manage your own caseload, work directly with clients and become part of a supportive and established team.
The Role
You will handle a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- Dealing with lenders, estate agents and other third parties
- Reviewing contracts, leases and title documentation
- Managing files and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients
- Building strong relationships with clients and other professionals
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- At least 5 years PQE or equivalent experience in residential property
- Strong experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload
- Good knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
- A good working knowledge of IT and legal case management systems
