3 Point Recruitment are hiring an Accounts Payable Assistant for our Coventry based client.

The role would be initially offered on a 6 month fixed term contract, with the potential of that going permanent during / at the end of the period.

The salary attached to this role is £30-32k depending on experience plus 2 days per week working from home.

Duties Will Include

• Processing invoices across multiple currencies and ensuring correct ledger allocation
• Processing supplier invoices accurately and within agreed / contracted timescales
• Managing invoice workflows and resolving any outstanding queries
• Supporting and maintaining automated invoice processing systems
• Posting and allocating direct debit transactions
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate supplier records and finance system data
• Building strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring high levels of accuracy while working to daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
• Providing support to the Accounts Payable Manager and wider finance team as required

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be

• Minimum of 3 years' Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes, controls and best practices
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident investigating and resolving queries
• Comfortable working to deadlines and managing a busy workload
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Available at short notice & able to commit to a 6 month contract (minimum, a permanent opportunity may become available during the contract)
