Your new role

As a VAT Compliance Specialist, you will take ownership of VAT reporting obligations across a portfolio of European and international entities. Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing VAT returns, reconciliations, Intrastat and other indirect tax filings, supporting VAT audits, advising internal stakeholders on compliance matters, and assisting with process improvement and tax technology initiatives. You will also monitor legislative changes and help ensure ongoing compliance across multiple territories.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2 years' VAT compliance experience gained within industry, practice, or a multinational environment.Strong understanding of indirect tax compliance processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and reconcile financial data.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across different countries and functions.
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
