Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Adult Commissioning Programme Lead to provide strategic transformation and leadership during a critical period of commissioning activity within Adult Social Care.

This is a delivery focused interim role with an immediate priority to lead and progress major re procurement activity across homecare, residential and nursing care, and supported living. The postholder will also lead provider fee uplift negotiations, ensuring a balanced approach to market sustainability, affordability and value for money.

Reporting to the Director of Commissioning, the interim will provide assurance, grip and risk management across complex programmes, supporting commissioning teams through periods of increased workload and external scrutiny.

We are particularly interested in interims who bring:

- Significant senior experience in adult social care commissioning.

- Proven leadership of complex re procurement programmes.

- Significant transformation/programme experience leading complex project work.

- Strong experience of provider fee negotiations.

- A sound understanding of governance, financial and contractual frameworks.

- A credible, pragmatic and outcomes focused leadership style, with the ability to quickly build confidence in a new environment.
