The are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a busy and established finance team. The successful candidate will be confident, proactive, and capable of working autonomously while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, the role involves regular interaction with senior stakeholders across the business, as well as external third parties. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are essential, along with the ability to meet monthly deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for specific divisions, with end-to-end ownership of accounting and reporting.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including basic tax elements and annual financial reporting.
  • Supporting divisional leaders and commercial teams in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Collating financial information for board reports and ad hoc divisional reporting.
  • Preparing profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Providing support to other members of the finance team as required.

Profile

  • Be fully or part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA, or actively studying towards qualification.
  • Have previous experience in a management accounting role.
  • Have experience working in a multi-project or multi-product environment (experience within media or events sectors is advantageous but not essential).
  • Demonstrate strong Excel skills.
  • Have experience using Sage 200
  • Possess excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Show initiative and the ability to identify challenges and suggest practical solutions.
