Container Transport - Customer Service (Nights)

Due to increased volumes an opportunity has arisen for a Customer Advisor to join an established haulier in Felixstowe. The company have a fantastic reputation and a proven track record in providing staff with a fantastic working environment.

Salary - £36,000 - £40,000 DOE

4 on 4 off shift pattern

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Customer Service: Maintaining high standards of service for clients and acting as the primary contact during the night.
  • Operational Management: Managing daily transport volumes, coordinating with drivers, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Administration: Utilizing internal IT systems and Microsoft Excel to manage data and report on transport activity.
  • Internal Liaison: Working directly with maritime staff to resolve issues.

Requirements for this role include excellent communication skills, IT literacy (specifically in Microsoft Excel), and previous transport or logistics experience is preferred but not essential, as trainee roles are available.
