We are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from June or September 2026. The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• KS5 teaching opportunities may also be available
• Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, and environments
• Use creative teaching approaches to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, urbanisation, and ecosystems to life
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support students of all abilities
• Monitor progress through effective feedback and assessment strategies
• Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities, fieldwork, and departmental initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
• A Geography specialist with strong subject knowledge
• Confident, engaging, and positive classroom presence
• Passionate about teaching and student achievement
• Reflective and adaptable approach to learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Committed to inclusion, high expectations, and raising attainment
