Vision Teaching

A vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school based in London Borough of Croydon are looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join them in September on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Year 4 Teacher or an Early Career Year 4 Teacher. The responsibilities for the Year 4 Teacher will include planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to support the needs of all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the wider curriculum.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
  • Lead a key phase across the school for the right candidate.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4 and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and staff.
