We’re working with a growing, multi-entity organisation seeking a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of financial control, reporting, and systems across the business. This is a high-impact role, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, strengthen controls, and support continued growth.
The Role As Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead group reporting, oversee financial operations, and ensure robust processes across multiple entities. You’ll play a key role in maintaining data integrity, improving systems, and delivering insightful financial information to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead timely and accurate group financial reporting and consolidations
Review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
Partner with operational stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
Oversee Accounts Payable processes, driving efficiency and accuracy
Maintain and enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting structures
Ensure compliance across tax filings (VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory requirements)
Manage banking relationships and oversee treasury activities
Own short- and long-term cash flow forecasting
Support continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Strong post-qualification experience in a group or multi-entity environment
Background in financial control, reporting, and process improvement
Experience with medium / large ERP systems
Confident working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
