A lovely, well-established nursery in Edenbridge and are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Level 3 Room Leader to join the team, working within our Preschool and Toddler rooms. This is a full-time position with a shift pattern, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a supportive, nurturing environment.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room, creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will lead by example, support staff, and work in partnership with parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff within the Preschool and/or Toddler rooms
• Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
• Maintain high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
• Observe, assess, and monitor children’s development
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
• Support and mentor staff, acting as a positive role model

Requirements

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) – essential
• Previous experience within an early years or nursery setting
• Room Leader or senior practitioner experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A caring, motivated, and professional attitude
