Role Overview

Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Taunton
Salary: £130 - £160 per day
Start Date: Immediate start available
Contract: Flexible Supply, Part-Time, Term Time Only

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will work across a range of primary settings, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils in maintaining positive learning experiences.

Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classes
  • Maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Adapting teaching approaches to suit pupils' individual learning needs
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and confidently
  • Supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
  • Encouraging participation, confidence, and inclusion in all activities
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to ensure continuity of learning
We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from teachers who enjoy variety and are passionate about supporting pupils across different school settings.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Have experience or confidence teaching within primary education
  • Be adaptable, flexible, and reliable
  • Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Be committed to supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing
