We have an exciting opportunity to join our client, a growing and forward-thinking organisation, who are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead and develop their procurement and supply chain function. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role where you will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall supplier performance.

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activity, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring all sourcing is compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities for a Procurement Manager:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategy aligned with business goals
  • Manage supplier relationships, including brokers and direct suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to drive cost savings
  • Analyse spend data to identify efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities
  • Support estimating and operations teams with accurate pricing
  • Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and ISO standards
  • Support supplier compliance within the ISMS framework
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills for a Procurement Manager:

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Experience working with national supplier networks or broker models
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical capability
  • Experience implementing procurement processes or frameworks
  • Good understanding of compliance and supplier assurance
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools
