My client is a globally recognised supplier of premium gifts, experiencing significant growth across international B2B and B2C markets. As we continue to scale our international footprint, we are seeking a pivotal new team member to integrate our sales, supply chain, and customer service operations.
The Role
The Sales Operations & Pipeline Coordinator is a high-impact role designed to ensure the efficiency of our global sales process. You will serve as the central link between our Sales Team, Supply Chain, and international customer base. This position requires a blend of meticulous administrative management, cross-departmental coordination, and proactive lead generation to drive our international B2B success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Sales Team, ensuring all internal and customer data is accurate and up to date.
- International Compliance & Documentation: Prepare and manage essential export, regional, and customer-specific documentation to ensure seamless global shipping and order completion.
- Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate with the Supply Chain Team to track inventory across three global warehouses, managing timelines for specific customer orders and communicating updates to the Sales Team.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Research and identify new global B2B opportunities. Conduct initial outreach and qualification of leads before transitioning them to the Sales Team for conversion.
- Process Management: Oversee customer onboarding, maintain compliance records, and provide order processing cover during peak periods to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Reporting: Track lead conversion progress and provide regular updates on pipeline health and operational efficiency to the Sales Director.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: A background in Sales Administration or Operations is essential. Experience within the food, gifting, or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
- Operational Knowledge: A strong understanding of domestic and international/export sales order management and compliance is a distinct advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with Sage accounting/ERP software is preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised, and a proactive "can-do" mentality suited to a small, fast-paced team environment.
- Requirements: Must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
