Semi Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice – Altrincham

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

We’re working with a well-established firm in the Altrincham area that is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who is keen to continue their professional development while working with a diverse client portfolio.

The role:

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting queries
• Liaising with HMRC and supporting senior accountants with ad hoc tasks
• Developing client relationships and providing excellent service

About you:

• Part-qualified ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
