An established company is currently looking for an Administrator to join their team. The Administrator role involves supporting the wider team with operational support, managing client communications, logging maintenance requests and coordinating engineers.

Administrator skills/competencies:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls promptly, handling enquiries, maintenance requests and notifications
  • Liaising with clients regarding job progress
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Accurately logging maintenance requests onto the in-house system
  • Categorising jobs based on urgency and response requirements
  • Ensuring all information is accurately logged including access arrangements
  • Monitoring jobs through to completion
  • Allocating and dispatching callouts to engineers based on location and availability
  • Liaising with engineers throughout the day to manage priorities
  • Adjusting schedules as required respond to emergencies
  • Supporting with the administration of contracts and maintenance visits
  • Monitoring and reporting on performance and compliance
  • Updating in-house systems with progress, completion notes, and outcomes

Administrator skills/competencies

  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
  • Adept at working within an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
