Customs Freight Forwarding Technical Support Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist with a background in customs or freight forwarding to join our client’s team near Feltham. You will support freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics companies, helping them streamline import and export processes using specialist systems, within a supportive team environment.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern between 8:00am – 7:00pm (early, mid, and late shifts)

1 in 4 Saturdays required

Following a probation period (6–12 months), participation in an on-call rota (weekdays only)

This is a full time, Hybrid Role

Salary: £35,000 – £37,000

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures or freight forwarding
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Hands-on experience completing import and export entries
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Additional experience in import/export entries
