Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Didsbury

Location: Didsbury
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming, inclusive, and community-driven primary school in Didsbury. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join the school on a full-time basis from September.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and resources
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5)
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching methods
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach
  • Confidence in using technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
