Temporary Finance Officer

• Location: St Helens
• Rate: £15.38 – £17.95 per hour
• Contract: Temporary

We are currently working with a client based in St Helens who is seeking a Temporary Finance Officer to provide short-term support within their finance team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running and has strong all-round finance experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Assisting with VAT returns
• Processing payroll (essential)
• Supporting with month-end duties
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Ad hoc finance support as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar Finance Officer role
• Payroll experience is essential
• Strong Excel skills
• Able to work accurately and meet deadlines
