We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company within the manufacturing sector, for a hands-on Maintenance and Production Technician. This role is split between supporting production operations and carrying out maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance and Production Technician:

• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and support fault finding
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Support day-to-day production operations to maintain efficiency
• Help install or modify machinery where required
• Maintain basic maintenance records
• Help on the shop floor with production operative duties such as Drilling and Sawing.

Key Skills for a Maintenance and Production Technician:

• Hands-on mechanical or maintenance experience desirable
• Background in manufacturing, production, or similar environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
