Vision Teaching are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Bromley to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Lead Teacher for a September 2026 start.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS practitioner looking to step into, or further develop, a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the EYFS phase, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning while helping to shape and develop the early years curriculum. You will work closely with staff, pupils, and families to create an engaging and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the EYFS phase across the school
  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Support and mentor EYFS staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
  • Monitor pupil progress and use assessment effectively to support development
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive early years environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
  • Contribute to the wider leadership and development of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong experience teaching within EYFS
  • Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into an EYFS Lead position
  • A nurturing, creative, and child-centred approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for supporting children during the crucial early stages of development
