We are supporting a leading financial services organisation in Edinburgh who are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Workplace Pensions experience to join a high-profile transformation programme.

This role sits within a modern value stream delivery model , working at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Change, and will play a key role in shaping customer journeys and driving delivery outcomes.

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

Contract: Initial 3-6 months (likely extension)

1. Responsibilities Operate as a Senior BA within a value stream construct , collaborating closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams (three-in-a-box model)
2. Translate high-level propositions into clear, structured requirements and user stories
3. Create detailed customer journey maps and process flows across Workplace Pensions products
4. Support the delivery of end-to-end financial services journeys , ensuring alignment to business and technical architecture
5. Work with limited initial information, forming assumptions and validating these with stakeholders

1. Experience Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within financial services
2. Strong domain knowledge of Workplace Pensions
3. Experience working within a value stream / SAFe-style delivery model (or similar agile frameworks)
4. Expertise in writing high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria
5. Demonstrated experience in journey mapping and process modelling
6. Strong understanding of the underlying system architecture and how it supports business journeys
