• Finance Operations Accountant, Investment / Wealth Management

A highly reputable, listed Wealth and Investment Management firm are looking for a Operations Accountant. The company has over £100 billion of assets under management/administration and a network of offices around the UK.
  
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the trial balance is accurate as recorded on the General Ledger.
  
Your Role

• Monthly production of the trial balance including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing month-end reports for the senior management team.
• Ensure a robust control framework and always challenge and seek out process improvement opportunities.
• Provide assistance to the external audit team.
• Build strong connections with the wider finance team and senior finance leaders.
• Involvement in finance projects as and when required.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Ideally a recently qualified or part-qualified accountant with balance sheet reporting and strong reconciliations experience.
• First-class interpersonal skills for communicating with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Excellent systems and data visualisation skills including MS Excel.
• Be deadline driven and be always look for process improvements.
