Role Description

A friendly and modern accountancy practice in Saffron Walden is looking to appoint an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing team. This is a varied opportunity offering exposure across accounts, tax and audit work, with around 50% of the role focused on audit assignments.

Working with a broad portfolio of clients, including charities, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of assignments while continuing your ACA or ACCA studies within a supportive and sociable environment.

What you’ll do

• Prepare statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Assist on audit assignments
• Support with tax compliance work
• Work closely with Managers and Senior staff across a mixed client base
• Build strong client relationships and provide high-quality service
• Work with clients across a variety of sectors, including charities

What you’ll need

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified or actively studying
• Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
• Exposure to accounts preparation and/or audit work
• Desire to continue learning and developing within practice
