Ceded Re Senior Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ceded Re Senior Analyst to join a growing specialty insurance business. This role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing ceded reinsurance operations, ensuring accurate treaty administration, reporting, recoverables management and process improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage ceded premium and loss reporting, collections and treaty activity
* Ensure accurate setup and administration of reinsurance arrangements
* Produce bordereaux, reporting and reconciliations
* Support financial close processes and ceded balance reporting
* Analyse exposure data and reinsurer performance
* Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements
* Work closely with underwriting, claims, finance and reinsurance teams
* Liaise with brokers and external partners regarding documentation and reporting requirements

About You:

* 5+ years' experience within ceded reinsurance operations or reinsurance accounting
* Strong understanding of quota share, treaty and facultative arrangements
* Experience within delegated authority/MGA business beneficial
* Knowledge of bordereaux management, reconciliations and financial reporting
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Professional qualifications (e.g. CII) advantageous
