Temporary Credit Control Assistant

We're working with a busy manufacturing business in Carlisle that needs an extra pair of hands in finance. They're looking for a Temporary Credit Control Assistant to step in, keep things ticking, and make an immediate impact.

The Role

You'll support the finance team with day-to-day credit control, helping to keep accounts accurate and payments on track.

What you'll be doing:

• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
• Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries
• Maintaining accurate customer records
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks

What they're looking for

• Must have previous experience in a credit control role
• Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• Comfortable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced environment
• Available immediately or at short notice
