We’re recruiting for an Investigations Officer to join a major infrastructure project at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK’s most significant and fast-paced environments. This is your chance to work at the heart of a large, dynamic workforce where your expertise will directly influence fair and consistent people practices.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take the lead on workplace investigations from start to finish, ensuring every case is handled with professionalism, fairness, and attention to detail.

  • Managing investigations across disciplinary, grievance, conduct, bullying and harassment cases
  • Gathering and analysing evidence, interviewing employees and witnesses
  • Producing clear, well-structured investigation reports
  • Ensuring processes align with UK employment law and best practice
  • Identifying trends in ER cases and supporting continuous improvement
  • Advising managers on investigation processes and building ER capability across the business

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing ER cases
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident investigator with excellent report-writing skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment (unionised experience is a bonus)
  • Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage sensitive situations

Location & Working Pattern

This is a site-based role at Hinkley Point C, working within a structured shift pattern and supporting a large operational workforce.
