We are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a well-established distribution business operating within a fast-paced consumable goods sector. The Role

You will lead and support a busy Sales & Customer Service team, driving performance while maintaining excellent customer relationships and service standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and motivate the customer service team
  • Assist senior sales leadership and cover in their absence
  • Engage with existing and lapsed customers to drive sales
  • Upsell and cross-sell across an established customer base
  • Handle queries and complaints professionally
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records
  • Support order processing and day-to-day team activity
  • Re-engage dormant accounts and support business growth

About You

  • Strong communicator with a confident, positive approach
  • Experience in sales and/or customer service
  • Commercially aware and target driven
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to build rapport and long-term customer relationships
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
