A globally recognised financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Company Secretary to join its EMEA governance team on a 12-month contract. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering company secretarial support across a broad portfolio of entities, primarily within the UK, with some exposure across the wider EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full company secretarial support to a range of entities, including those regulated by the PRA and FCA, as well as associated board committees
  • Act as a trusted liaison for Board Chairs and non-executive directors, coordinating governance calendars, agendas, and board documentation
  • Offer guidance to directors on governance matters, including responsibilities, onboarding, and conflict management
  • Attend and minute board and committee meetings to a high standard, supporting governance disclosures and annual reporting processes
  • Manage statutory and regulatory filings, and provide support on corporate transactions such as restructures, refinancings, and wind-downs
  • Work closely with international teams on entity governance, KYC matters, and documentation requirements
  • Support ongoing governance enhancements, including process optimisation and training initiatives
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified Company Secretary with at least 10 years’ relevant experience in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives and board members
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and capable of working autonomously
  • Experience with Blueprint and Boardvantage systems is beneficial
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to London for meetings
