REED Recruitment in Bath is delighted to be working in conjunction with a thriving niche business in their search for a Warehouse Team Leader.

Based in their Somerset offices the role involves leading a small team responsible for fulfilling customer orders, picking & packing customer orders, stock control and keeping our systems maintained with accurate information.

This is a full time, permanent role

Salary £30,000 - £35,0000

Hours of Work: Monday — Friday 8:15 am—5:15pm

Duties include:

Warehouse Operations

• Manage all daily warehouse activities such as picking and packing customer orders, receiving incoming goods, labelling and despatching parcels and pallets.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and year-end stock count.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor KPls to drive warehouse efficiency and performance.
• Oversee handling of returns, damaged goods, and non-conforming products.

Team Management

• Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team to achieve maximum effectiveness & efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Sales Support & Marketing to align with business goals.

Systems & Compliance

• Ensure systems are accurate and kept up to date.

e Ensure compliance with the Company Health & Safety Policy and Employee Handbook.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role within a warehouse and managing a team.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
