Your new role

In this role, you will operate as a Senior Claims Broker, supporting both the day-to-day handling of claims and the broader development of the claims function.

You will take responsibility for managing claims from notification through to settlement, ensuring accurate and timely processing across Lloyd's and company market systems. Alongside this, you will deputise for the Claims Manager where required, providing guidance to colleagues and supporting team delivery against key performance targets.You will be heavily involved in market-facing activity, liaising with insurers, brokers, clients and third-party administrators to ensure claims are handled efficiently and transparently.

Responsibilities will include producing claims bordereaux, loss runs and reporting, reconciling claims data, ensuring adequate funding of loss funds, and supporting complex claims administration across both open market and delegated authority business. The role will also involve contributing to internal projects, supporting system and process development, maintaining claims procedures and delivering training to colleagues, particularly around London Market systems such as ECF.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience operating within a Lloyd's or London Market claims broking environment, with a strong understanding of claims processes across both open market and delegated business.

You will be confident using market systems such as ECF and CLASS, with the ability to manage claims data, reporting and reconciliations accurately. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, brokers, insurers and internal teams. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage competing priorities and demonstrate a proactive, solution-focused approach. Previous experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues would be advantageous.
