Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Senior Recruitment Consultant on behalf of our team, based in Maidstone. This Senior Recruitment Consultant opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.

About the Role:

• Leading permanent recruitment activity within the engineering and technical sector
• Managing and developing key client accounts, acting as a trusted recruitment partner
• Mentoring junior consultants and supporting team performance
• Overseeing candidate sourcing, interviewing, and shortlisting processes
• Providing market insight, salary benchmarking, and recruitment advice to clients
• Ensuring all recruitment activity meets compliance and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate systems, reports, and performance data
• Delivering a professional, customer-focused service at all times

About You:

• Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, ideally within a specialist or technical market
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and reporting tools
• Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working to targets
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK

Salary & Working Pattern:

• £32,000 – £40,000 per annum + uncapped commission
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday–Friday with hybrid working available
