The RoleAs a Footwear Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring products meet required legislation and quality standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting and supporting physical testing activities
- Discussing test results and technical information with customers
- Drafting reports and responding to technical enquiries
- Delivering seminars, webinars, and training sessions
- Supporting technicians within the department
- Assisting with customer visits and promoting technical services
- Contributing to technical articles and internal/external publications
- Working in line with quality systems and health & safety procedures

Essential Skills & Experience - Familiarity with physical testing techniques
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Customer-facing experience
- Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel when required
Desirable - Footwear industry experience
- Degree in Maths, Science, or related subject
- SAFT qualification (or working towards)
- Experience within commercial or business development environments
- Full UK driving licence
