Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Hythe. This role involves delivering palletised goods via a Palletline network, ensuring timely and professional service to customers.

Role Details:

• Start time: 18:00
• Monday to Friday
• Trunking work from our depot to the Birmingham Palletline hub and back
• No multi-drop involved

Responsibilities:

• Carry out trunk runs safely and efficiently
• Ensure timely collections and deliveries between depots
• Complete all relevant paperwork and PODs accurately
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Adhere to all driving and tachograph regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous trunking experience preferred
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
