Robert Half Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a successful global manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a senior, hands-on role combining financial control, business partnering and leadership of a small finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of monthly reporting, forecasting and controls, while partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to support performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets
• Lead, manage and develop a small on-site finance team
• Partner with operations and senior stakeholders, providing insight and commercial challenge
• Maintain strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity and audit support
• Drive cost control, margin analysis and continuous process improvement
• Support group reporting within a global manufacturing environment

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA/ ACCA)
• Experience in a similar financial controller or finance manager role
• Manufacturing or operational business background preferred
• Confident people manager with strong business partnering skills
• Commercial, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
