IFA Support / Paraplanner

Salary:

£30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established and client-focused financial planning firm, providing tailored advice to individuals and families. They pride themselves on delivering a high level of service and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships through a holistic approach to financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end support to Financial Advisers across the full client journey
  • Process new business across pensions, investments, and protection
  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendation documentation
  • Conduct research and analysis to support financial planning advice
  • Liaise with product providers and third parties
  • Manage client servicing, including reviews and ongoing support
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Maintain accurate client records using back-office systems

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an IFA administration or paraplanning role
  • Strong understanding of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection
  • Experience supporting advisers throughout the advice process
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

Desirable Skills:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards)
  • Experience with systems such as Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, or Voyant
  • Report writing experience
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks within financial services
