Revenue Accountant - Berkshire Based

Savant are supporting a key client in their search for a Revenue Accountant to join their Berkshire-based finance team. This is a high-profile opportunity to join a growing, well-structured finance function, working closely with the Finance Director and key operational stakeholders. The role focuses on ensuring revenue is accurately recorded, forecast, and continuously improved as the business scales.

The Role

You will take ownership of revenue accounting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy across month-end reporting while partnering with Sales, Billing, and Operations to provide clear financial insight and identify revenue risks or opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post revenue journals and maintain accrued/deferred revenue schedules
• Deliver accurate monthly revenue reporting and variance analysis
• Own and develop complex revenue forecasting models
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational data
• Interpret contracts and translate into revenue impact and forecasting assumptions
• Support audits and provide revenue insight for budgeting
• Identify and implement process improvements across revenue reporting

What We're Looking For

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), AAT qualified or relevant degree
• Experience in revenue, forecasting, or management accounts
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex financial models
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally
• ERP experience (e.g. NetSuite) desirable
