We are recruiting a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Rugby. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive environment where every pupil is given the opportunity to thrive.

About The Role

Start Date: ASAP

Full-time position within a specialist SEN school.

• Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Provide both pastoral and academic support to help pupils engage in learning.
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Support students with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver a structured and supportive learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience supporting children or young people, with at least one referenceable role.
• Experience with SEN or in a care/support setting is advantageous.
• Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs.
• Resilient, patient and empathetic approach.
• Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils.
• Committed to supporting young people to reach their full potential.
